Ashlyn's Barista Bio

Ashlyn has been a barista at Shimoji Coffee since March of 2018. Ashlyn’s passion for coffee and her interest in working at a small, locally owned business, made it clear to her that she would enjoy working at Shimoji. She loves working at Shimoji because she appreciates the bond we all have with our customers, as well as with each other, as a team of baristas!

One of Ashlyn’s favorite drinks is the Iced Vanilla Chai. At Shimoji, we brew our Chai tea in house with Masala spices. Our original Iced Vanilla Chai Latte is served over ice, with whole milk and vanilla syrup. All of our syrups are made from scratch with pure cane sugar. Our vanilla syrup is super tasty, which is why it is the base flavor of both of Ashlyn’s favorite drinks. Her other favorite drink is the Iced Hazelnut Vanilla Latte. Ashlyn’s favorite baked good is the Raspberry Cream Pastry. She loves raspberries and the pastries remind her of mini pies!

Ashlyn is a full-time student, currently taking her general studies classes. During her free time, Ashlyn enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family. When the weather is nice, she likes to spend time outside swimming, and sipping on a delicious Raspberry Hibiscus from Shimoji!
